If you have ever been in my classroom, you know it is filled with laughter, mess and learning. But, the truth is, not a lot of people come to my room. Like a lot of Art teachers, I am at the end of a very long hallway, and the only Art teacher in my building. We still have fun, but sometimes I feel like I am on an island.
After attending the GAEA conference, I found that my favorite part of the weekend was sharing stories with other teachers. As life becomes more hectic, it seems that we have less and less time to share lessons and best practices with one another. So, I thought I would make this blog as a place to share my ideas, lessons and the chaotic fun that we have in my classroom every day. It's my way of staying connected to you all, even if you are far away.
I have begun, already, to make lessons on my YouTube channel and post them for my students to watch. If you haven't already checked out my channel, click HERE or search for The Art Bandit and see some of the projects we have made this year. Enjoy!
